You've heard of the Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest but a hamburger eating contest?

Lehigh Career and Technical Institute will play host to a 5 pound hamburger-eating contest dubbed "Tame the Bison" 5 p.m. Jan. 31.

Paying homage to it's past mascot, "Tame the Bison" already has over half a dozen registered participants accepting the challenge of consuming the entire massive burger.

The event will serve as a fundraiser for the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America student organization that the Culinary Arts Department is a member of at LCTI.

There is an entry fee, but any competitor who finishes the burger in one hour will receive a full refund, their photo on the Wall of Fame and a T-shirt.
