Layne Mertz of Kutztown was named to the 2013 fall semester dean's list at The University of Scranton, Scranton.

Mertz is a junior with a occupational therapy major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies.

A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours to make the dean's list.
