There will be no school Jan. 27 for a teacher inservice day.

Northwestern Lehigh Educational Foundation will have a flapjack fundraiser 8-10 a.m. Feb. 8 at Applebee's, 1510 N. Cedar Crest Blvd, South Whitehall.

Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage and choice of beverage.

Northwestern Elementary

Partners In Education will be having a Family Valentine's Dance 6-9 p.m. Feb. 7.

There will be food, a Chinese auction, face painting, crazy hair, as well as fantastic music.

Weisenberg Elementary

Family Night at Weisenberg Elementary will be on Jan. 25. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Activities for the evening include a Kids Party with DJ from 6-7:15 p.m.; live auction, 6:45-7:15 p.m.; and games and crafts from 7:15-9 p.m.

There also will be a photo booth at the event.
