Motor vehicle accident

Coplay police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 900 block of Oak Street, Jan. 17.

Police said Constance Moyer of Whitehall Township was operating a 1998 Infiniti traveling east on Oak Street when another vehicle approached from the opposite direction. In the process, Moyer moved her vehicle to the right and struck a parked vehicle.

Disorderly conduct reported

Police cited Rashin Bennett of Northampton Jan. 20 for disorderly conduct.

According to police, Giant Food Store employees reported a woman came to the store's courtesy desk to return an item. During the conversation with store employees, Bennett yelled profanities at store employees.

Bennett left the store before police arrived at the scene.

Police respond to fire

Police and the fire department responded to a small oven fire, Jan.16, in an apartment at 10 N. Front St.

Police said the occupant used a fire extinguisher before police arrived.

There was no damage reported. The fire department resolved the situation.
