Cleon B. Waters, 87, of Macungie, died Jan. 18, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Beverly J. Waters and the late Alice Nichols Waters who died in 2005. He was the son of the late Albert and Beulah (McCauley) Waters.

He was a Navy veteran serving in the Pacific during World War II and stateside during the Korean Conflict.

He was a graduate of Wichita State University and was a management retiree of PPL.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Charles A. and his wife, Amy, Edward A. and his wife, Ellen; grandchildren, Erin, Cit, Archer and Cawley; siblings, Clara Laizure, Bernice Wheeler and John Waters; stepsons, John Honnold, Jeffrey Honnold and his wife Clare.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, in the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church, 3231 W. Tilghman St., Allentown. Call 2 to 3 p.m. Arrangements were made by the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, Clarks Summit.
