Anthony "Tony" Buttillo, Jr., 74, of Salisbury Township, died Jan. 13, 2014, at the Hospice House of St. Luke's in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Jerilyn F. (Koch) Buttillo. They were married for 51 years on Sept. 22, 2013. Born in Westfield, N.J., he was the son of the late Anthony and Virginia (Sterphone) Buttillo.
He was a marker for the former Phoenix Clothing Company, which later became the Greif Company for many years. He was a union president for many years for the Greif Company.
He enjoyed working out especially weightlifting.
He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Tina M. and her husband Daniel Steckel, of Bethlehem; son, Anthony J. and his wife Christine, of Forks Township; grandchildren, Anthony, Joshua Steckel, Olivia and Noah; sisters, Dorothy and her husband Joseph Dravecz, of Bethlehem, Jean and her husband Ron Benckini, of Coopersburg and Shirley and her husband Robert Hertzog, of Bethlehem Twp.; brothers, Vincent and his wife Carol and Joseph and his wife Evelyn, all of Salisbury Township.
Contributions may be made to Salem Lutheran Church or the Hospice House of St. Luke's, all in care of the Herron Funeral Home.
