Charles J. Gestl, 90, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 12, 2014, at Gracedale Nursing Home. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Rudolph and Frances (Stubits) Gestl.

He is survived by six brothers, Rudolph of Cabot, Herman of Point Phillips, Herbert of Charles Town, W.V. and Ernest, Raymond and Russell, all of Bethlehem; a sister, Laurie Schwenk of Texas; and 30 nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Mildred Hertzog and Isabelle Derr; and a brother, Frederick Gestl.
