Florence E. Esterly, 110, formerly of Reading, died Dec. 27, 2013, in Country Meadows. She was the wife of the late George E. Esterly. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late George and Genevieve (Messmer) Raab.

She was a full fashion looper for several knitting mills in Reading for 40 years, retiring in 1967.

She was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis L. and her husband William Grube, of Allentown; grandchildren, Sandra Oertwig, Randy Kerschner, William Grube III, James Grube, Susanne Wall, Lois Bruno and James Heffner; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jane C. (Heffner) Messmer and granddaughter Debra S. Agentis.
