Margaretta L. Lentz, 86, of Hokendauqua, passed away peacefully on Dec. 26, 2013 in Saint Lukes Hospital, Allentown Campus.

Born in Hokendauqua to late Arnold and Anna (Keshel) Theiss. She was the widow of Anthony J. Lentz, who died in 1984.

A member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall, she enjoyed preparing and folding weekly bulletins.

A graduate of Whitehall High School, she was a seamstress at Tama Manufacturing in Northampton, and Baby Gro in Allentown until retiring.

She ran bus trips to Atlantic City Casinos, and was a Girl Scout leader in Hokey earlier in life.

She is survived by daughters Denise R. Sneddon at home, Marcia Theiss of Whitehall, and Kristen Scheirer and her husband Clinton of Trexlertown; sons Anthony C. Lentz and his wife Sandra of Kutztown and Gary C. Lentz and his wife Judy of Schnecksville; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and an expected blessing on the way; twin sister Dorothy Salter of Whitehall; nieces, nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by an infant son and brothers Charles and Robert Theiss.
