St. John's United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., Whitehall, will host a Longaberger basket bingo Friday, Jan. 17.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and games begin at 7 p.m.

There will be 20 games, a Chinese auction, three specials, 50/50 games and extra boards available.

The kitchen will be open.

The presale price is cheaper than the door price.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall, will hold its next all-you-can-eat breakfast Sunday, Jan. 12, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the parish social hall.

The Fullerton Playground Association will hold sign-ups for the 2014 baseball and softball season on the following dates:

Saturday, Jan. 11 and 25; Feb. 8 and 22; and March 8, all 2 to 5 p.m.

All sign-ups will take place at the playground building, Jefferson St., behind the Toys R Us.

Fullerton will be fielding teams for boys ages 5 to 16 and girls ages 5 to 15 (cannot turn 15 before Jan. 1, 2014).

There will also be a Little Tykes program for boys and girls ages 3 to 5.
