Helen S. Craven, 99, of Catasauqua, died Dec. 30, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Paul Craven.

Born in North Dakota, she was a daughter of the late Walter A. and Anna Lavigne (DeMers) Samski.

She worked in the commercial accounting department of the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company before retiring.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Catasauqua.

She is survived by daughter Eileen Miller; brother Eugene Samski; two grandchildren, Sharon and her husband Paul Ballek and Eric and his wife Liz Miller; two great-grandchildren, Holly and her husband David Kordaleski and Amy and her husband Andy Silfies; and four great-great-grandchildren, Matthew and Rebecca Kordaleski and Violet and Brooke Silfies.
