Derek B. Billiard, 31, of Bethlehem, died Dec. 28, 2013. Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of Bruce and Sally (Noel) Billiard of Bethlehem.

He was a 2000 graduate of Freedom High School.

He was a meat cutter at B&M Provisions, Allentown.

He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

He belonged to the Jefferson Democratic Club.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a paternal grandmother, Gertrude Billiard of Fountain Hill; a sister Brandi Jo and her husband Russell Robertson of Charlottesville, Va.; and a girlfriend, Shari Lamas of Bethlehem.
