Raymond W. Patridge, 88, of Mac-ungie, died Jan. 4, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Carole A. (Mount) Patridge, with whom he was married for 44 years. Born in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Burnett J. and Juanita (Cameron) Patridge.
He was educated in the Columbus public schools and graduated from The Ohio State University in 1948 with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering.
He was a registered professional engineer in several states and Canada. He founded Rage Engineering Inc. in Bucks County in 1967 and acted as president and CEO until his retirement in 1991.
He honorably served his country as a pilot in the Naval Air Corp. during World War II.
He was an avid bridge player, member of the Airplane Owners Pilot Association and was a member of Brookside Country Club.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Douglas R. and his wife Michelle, of Fogelsville and William, of Houston, Texas; daughter, Cdr. Beth Elaine, of Alexandria, Va.; grandchildren, John "Jake," Cameron and Griffin.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 9 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
