Martin J. Pavolko, Jr.

Martin J. Pavolko, Jr., 71, of Salisbury Township, died Dec. 30, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice Unit, Allentown. He was the husband of Ellen (Reichard) Pavolko, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Martin J. and Elizabeth (Gavuva) Pavolko, Sr.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1966, and later became a machinist for Mack Trucks in Allentown until his retirement in 2002.

He was also affiliated with Goosey Gander #7 on Emmaus Avenue.

He enjoyed bowling, fishing trips to Atlantic City with his family and watching the Phillies and the Eagles.

He is survived by his wife; daughter Heidi and her husband Mark Traub, of Salisbury Township; sons, Matthew and his wife JoAnne, of Salisbury Township, Martin and his wife Jennifer, of Greensboro, N.C.; sister, Mary Pardo; brothers, Joseph and Michael; grandchildren, Martin, Paityn, and Alaina; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Dieter.
