Eleanor (El) A. Gasdaska, 83, of Emmaus, died Dec. 31, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of William G. Gasdaska. They were married for over 63 years. Born in Mt. Union, she was the daughter of the late Ignatius and Mary (Kormucik) Puchalla.

She and her husband met at the former Western Electric in Allentown where they both worked. She also worked at Concern Day Care, Emmaus, for several years.

She was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and she was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church, Allentown.

She is survived by her husband; sons, Bill Jr. and John; daughter, Jane; three grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, MaryEllen; an infant son; brother, John Puchalla; sister, Helen Scull.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
