Martin J. Pavolko Jr., 71, of Salisbury Township, died Dec. 30, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice Unit, Allentown. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Martin J. and Elizabeth (Gavuva) Pavolko Sr. He was the husband of Ellen (Reichard) Pavolko for 43 years.

He was in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1966.

He was a machinist for Mack Trucks, Allentown, until his retirement in 2002. He was affiliated with Goosey Gander #7, Emmaus Ave., Allentown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Heidi and her husband Mark Traub of Salisbury Township; and two sons, Matthew and his wife JoAnne of Salisbury Township and Martin and his wife Jennifer of Greensboro, N.C.; a sister, Mary Pardo; two brothers, Joseph and Michael Pavolko; three grandchildren, Martin, Paityn and Alaina Pavolko; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Dieter.
