James J. Gibisser, 63, of Hanover Township, died Dec. 21, 2013, at Old Orchard Nursing Center, Easton. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Campbell) Gibisser. He was the husband of Susan A. (Smith) Gibisser for 42 years.

He was a 1968 Dieruff High School graduate. He earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from Bloomsburg University.

He was the owner of Gibisser & Company Accountants from 1986 to 2002. He was an accounting supervisor for Boise Cascade Company.

He was a member of the Institute of Management Accountants for 25 years. He was a member of the National Association of Accountants.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Tara and her husband Patrick Anderson and their son Patrick Reed Anderson of Chatham, N.J.; a brother, John Gibisser of Fla; a sister, Elizabeth and her husband James Cramsey II of Macungie; nieces; and nephews.
