Ruth L. Laubach, 87, of Topton, died Dec. 18, 2013, at The Lutheran Home, Topton. She was the wife of the late Rev. Howard E. Laubach.

Born in Egypt, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Stella (Souders) Falk.

She was a 1947 graduate of the former Allentown Hospital School of Nursing.

She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Egypt.

She is survived by a son, David H. and his wife Molly of Lewisville, Texas; two daughters, Christel and her husband Mark Appleby of Emmaus and Heidi A. Laubach of Doyelstown; and five grandchildren, Philip and his wife Rachel Appleby of Jeffersonville, Vanessa Appleby of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Craig, Ingrid and Neil Laubach of Lewisville.

She was predeceased by a son, Philip Laubach; three brothers, Willard, Roy and Robert Falk; and a sister, Evelyn Falk.
