Knights of Columbus Council 10921 of St. Joseph the Worker, Orefield, is hosting its annual free throw contest for boys and girls 3:30-6 p.m. Jan. 3, 2014, in the gymnasium.

Registration is 3:30 p.m. with shooting starting 4:15-4:30 p.m.

Proof of age (9 to 14 of Jan. 1, 2014), and parents written permission to participate is required.

This is a non-denominational event and there is no entry fee.

Winners of their respective divisions will advance to district, regional and state competitions.
