There will be no school for the holiday break from Dec. 21 through Jan. 1, 2014.

Northwestern Lehigh High School Holiday Concert will be presented at 7 p.m. Dec. 20 in the auditorium.

NWL boys basketball, in partnership with ShoeBox Recycling, is introducing a shoe recycling program with a focus on reuse.

Players, coaches, families, and community members are all encouraged to participate.

ShoeBox Recycling bins are placed at the gym entrances for all home games.

Fans are encouraged to discard their gently used shoes, which will be resold and reused.
