John V. Dolak, 87, of Bethlehem and formerly of Park Hall, Md., died Dec. 5, 2013 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Fountain Hill. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Victor and Anna (Straka) Dolak.
He was a graduate of St. Mary's College, St. Mary's City, Md.
He was in the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1944 to 1947.
He was a bartender for 50 years at The Roost, Lexington Park, Md., near the Patuxent Naval Air Base.
He is survived by a fraternal twin sister, Elizabeth Holzman of Bethlehem; a niece, Cynthia Biedenkopf of Bethlehem; and a nephew, Briant C. Holzman of New Jersey.
He was predeceased by four sisters, Mary, Helen, Anna and Barbara; and a brother, Stephen Dolak.
Arrangements were made by Connell Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
