Joan Mast, 70, of Northampton, died Dec. 13, 2013, at Pleasant Valley Manor, Stroudsburg. She was the wife of Harold Mast for 53 years.

Born in Wisconsin, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Blanche (Fly) Shive.

She was last employed at The Bon-Ton Department Store, Whitehall, as a jewelry inventory person for 15 years, before retiring in 2002.

She attended Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Kevin and his companion Wanda Schock of Stroudsburg and Barry D. and his companion Nancy Suliman of Bath; two brothers, David and his wife Dorothy Landes of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Shive Jr. of Orlando, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth W. Mast; and a daughter, Barbara A. Mast.
