It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Coplay.
The snowstorm this past weekend added to the anticipation.
The evergreen trees for sale in town looked especially appropriate with white snow on the branches.
Some children worked off their extra energy sledding on the parkway slope off North Second Street.

The American Club of Coplay is hosting Elvis, aka Andy Svrek, for a Christmas party 7-11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 with the oldies band Fast Trac providing accompanying music.

Borough Christmas decorations went up at Second and Chestnut streets, including two displays at Second and Hokendauqua streets and Chestnut and Ruch streets.

The Coplay Recreation & Welfare Association Food Bank is providing take-home holiday dinners for families.
Ham and chicken and stuffing with all the trimmings are included.
Giant Food donated a box of items, including cranberry sauce, corn, tuna, stuffing and gravy.
Keystone Bank also held its annual food drive, collecting items for the food bank.
