Commitment to Family and Community will host breakfast with Santa starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the community social hall at 165 Cherry St.
There is a cost. Every participating child gets a bag from Santa.

Santa will also come to Coplay Sunday, Dec. 15, via a parade beginning 10:30 a.m. on Front Street. It continues west to Echo Manor and Parkway West.
In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be postponed until the following weekend.
Parents may drop off a present for Santa to give to their children at the Coplay Sports field house 6-8 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 13, or 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14. Children's names will be called when Santa arrives at their residence.
The borough police will lead the caravan, which will consist of a fire truck and a decorated camper for Santa and Mrs. Claus. Children will also be given a bag of goodies.

Motorists no doubt have noticed construction taking place on streets across the borough.
The company, retained by UGI, is replacing gas lines and is expected to continue for weeks.

Borough sanitation personnel will pick up refuse as usual Monday. Dec. 23, and Tuesday, Dec. 24.
Municipal offices will be closed Dec. 24, however.
Garbage pickup will also occur as usual Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 30 and Dec. 31.
Recyclables will be picked up Friday, Dec. 27. Crews will be off Dec. 25 and 26.

The Osborne-Kesselring family of North Eighth Street thanks St. Peter's and Coplay Borough for service as drop-off points for their recent Warmth for a Friend coat drive.
The family also wishes to thank everyone who contributed.
"In all, we collected over 400 coats to be distributed on Christmas Day," said Richard Osborne. "To all the citizens in our wonderful community, we wish you and your families a joyous and happy holiday season."
