Kathryn M. Haines, 101, of Alburtis, died Dec. 8, 2013, in the Lutheran Home in Topton. She was the wife of the late Elmer G. Haines, who died in 1994. They were married for 65 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Maggie M. (Leiby) Berger.

She was a member of the Alburtis Senior Citizens and enjoyed bus trips and gardening.

She is survived by grandchildren, Ann E. O'Shall, of Allentown, Joette L. and her husband Lynn Conrad, of Alburtis, Lori K. Lentz, of Mertztown, Keith I. and his wife Valarie, of Alburtis, George A. Jr. and his wife Michelle, of Mertztown, and Michael R. and his wife Amy, of Bethlehem; sister, Joyce Yenser, of Macungie; 10 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, George A. and Robert P.; brothers, George, Warren, Lester, Grant, Charles; sisters, Florence Kalabisko and Esther Swank.
