Mary Jane (Kresge) Schortz, 69, of Bethlehem, died Nov. 23, 2013, in her home. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Redding) and Robert Kresge.

She was a school secretary at Bethlehem Catholic High School. She worked in admitting at St. Luke's Hospital.

She is survived by a son, Brian and his wife Lindsey of Belfast, Maine; a daughter, Linda and her husband Paul Hepfer of Mountain View, Calif.; a brother, Jerry and his wife Marie Kresge, all of Bethlehem; two sisters, Vicky and her husband Al Ganser of Devon and Kate and her husband Tom Harnett of Bethlehem; two grandchildren, Genevieve and Anna Schortz; two nieces, Mary Hartnett and Cara Kresge; and two grand–nieces, Marley Cody Hartnett and Claire Cody Hartnett.

She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Kresge.
