Joyce M. Demczyszyn, 89, of Allentown and formerly of Northampton, died Nov. 30, 2013, at Phoebe Home, Allentown.

Born in Egypt, she was a daughter of the late Preston and Ellen (Nothstein) Fenstermaker.

She was a Northampton High School graduate.

She worked a Consolidated Vultee Aircraft to help support the war efforts.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Northampton.

She is survived by two sons, Scott W. and his wife Kathleen of Quakertown and John D. and his wife Susan of Northampton; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis LaMar of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren, Susan, Beth, Karen, Danielle, Amanda, Sean, Erin, Amy and Sara; and three great-grandchildren, Makenzy, Madelyn and Jayden.

She was predeceased by a son, Daniel LaMar; and a brother, Warren Fenstermaker.

A calling hour is set for 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at10:30 a.m. Dec. 5 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
