Vehicle crashes into home

Coplay Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle that crashed into a home in the unit block of South Front Street Nov. 28.

A 2005 Honda operated by Justine Agou of the unit block of North Front Street, Coplay, pulled out of a parking space onto Coplay Street and hit a parked vehicle, causing the air bag to be deployed, police said.

After the air bag was activated, the vehicle continued down Coplay Street and crashed into a home at 1 S. Front St., according to police.

The property owner, William Reiss of Northampton, was not there at the time of the accident, police said.

Vehicle scratched

A resident of the unit block of South Second Street reported to police Nov. 28 that someone scratched the two passenger side doors of her 2013 Dodge truck while it was parked across the street from her residence.

The incident is currently under investigation, police said.

Fire alarm

Borough police and firefighters responded Dec. 1 to a fire alarm at 10 N. Front St.

Burnt food set the alarm off, police said.

Fire company personnel ventilated the apartment, according to police.
