Antoinette M. (Tarola) Antoccia, seamstress

Antoinette M. (Tarola) Antoccia, 94, of Bethlehem and Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown, died Nov. 23, 2013, at St.Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. Born in Roseto, she was a daughter of the late Philomenia (Williams) and Anselmo "Samuel" Tarola. She was the wife of the late Edward A. Antoccia for 52 years.

She was a seamstress for several companies in the Lehigh Valley for 35 years.

She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

She was a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its Sodality and currently of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Bethlehem Township.

She is survived by two sons, Alfred of Bethlehem and Dennis and his wife Jan of Salem, Utah; a daughter, Janice and her husband Paul Carden of Sterling, Va.; two brothers, Arthur and Albert Tarola; a sister, Stella Hussar; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three brothers; and one sister.
