Hilda Gallina, 88, of Macungie, died Nov. 30, 2013. She was the wife of Anthony Gallina for 66 years. Born in Boyertown, she was the daughter of Stella and George Drumheller.
She worked with her parents in their bakery in Boyertown. The busines was known for its cakes and pies.
She was a Jehovah's Witness who taught others about the Bible and the hope she had for the future– a hope she found comforting in her later years.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Donna and her husband Dean Light, of Milford, Del; and a son, Philip Gallina and his wife Michele, of Egypt, Pa.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; brother, Linwood and his wife Gloria Drumheller; and a sister, Marion and her husband Robert Glass, of Reading.
She was predeceased by seven brothers; and a grandson.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4571 Indian Creek Road, Macungie, 18062.
