Earl R. Brey, 82, of Allentown, died Nov. 6, 2013, in his residence. He was the husband of Alene N. (Brobst) Brey. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Oscar and Lillian (Krauss) Brey.

He worked as a welder at Alstom Company of Easton, formerly Ecolaire Corp., for 30 years and later worked at Lafayette College as a custodian for 10 years.

He was an initiate of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas, India.

He honorably served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife; son, Eugene E. and his wife Amy, of Allentown; daughter, Connie Holmes, of Coatsville; sisters, Dawn Wagner, of Allentown, and Marlene Freer, of Allentown; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
