Raymond E. Druckenmiller, 84, of North Catasauqua, died Nov. 21 2013, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the husband of Josephine (Lerch) Druckenmiller for 61 years.
Born in North Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Tilghmand and Annie (Rockel) Druckenmiller.
He was a 1947 graduate of Whitehall High School.
He was in the U.S. Navy and the Seabee Reserves and was a member of the Navy Fleet reserves for 22 years.
He was a cement chemist with Whitehall and LaFarge cement companies for 33 years before retiring. Before that, he worked for Roller Smith Company, Bethlehem.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Northampton. He was on the consistory at Zion Stone United Church of Christ, Northampton, and at St. Paul's as an elder.
He was a member of Chapman Lodge 637 F&M, North Catasauqua, and was a 32nd-degree Mason with the Lehigh Consistory, Allentown. He had been active with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, Catasauqua High School Band parents and the Allentown Juvenile Band parents.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Thomas E. and his wife Margaret and the Rev. Dr. Bruce R. and his wife Narda; a grandson, Nathan and his wife Kara Druckenmiller; three granddaughters, Rachel Druckenmiller, Rebecca and her husband Daniel Richman, and Amanda Druckenmiller; a grandson, Andrew Druckenmiller; and two great-grandsons, Landon and Louis.
