Peter P. Kuzma, 82, of Allentown, died Nov. 12, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice. He was the companion of Lucy Hess for the past 30 years. Born in Emaus, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Kostura) Kuzma.

He was a crane operator for Bethlehem Steel and owned Peter Kuzma Paving for 50 years.

He graduated from Emmaus High School in 1949.

He was a life member of the Mercantile Club.

He honorably served his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his companion; sons Stephen and his wife Lori, of Bethlehem, Michael and his wife Ann Marie, of Northampton, James and his wife Barbara, of Wind Gap, and Byron, of Point Philips; sisters, Magdalene Kloiber, of Emmaus, and Anna Breisch, of Center Valley; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
