Moore Elementary School recently honored students of the month through a new program created for this school year. Each month, students in kindergarten through sixth grade are nominated by their teachers to receive a certificate at a recognition breakfast, plus recognition on the announcements by Principal Curtis Dimmick. A special letter is sent home notifying parents their children have followed and exceeded the Moore Pride expectations, completing their work willingly, exhibiting good behavior, displaying leadership qualities and serving as role models for their peers. Students recognized at a breakfast Nov. 8 include, front from left, Olivia Hayes, Christa Krieger, Taylor Murante, Joseph Tomaro, Corry Benninger, Hannah Duerr and Nicholas Longenbach.
