Gary D. Dunning, 94, of Bethlehem, died Nov.12, 2013, in Saint Luke's Hospice. Born in Long Pond, he was a son of the late Stanley and Carrie (Everret) Dunning. He was the husband of the late Marie (Van Doren) Dunning.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, having attainined the rank of first sergeant.
He retired as a manager for Mary McIntosh after 33 years of service in Easton, Allentown, Miami and Reading.
He was a member of Easton Lodge #152 F&AM. He was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
He is survived by a daughter, Sherrill M. Rawlings and Al Bonnici of Bethlehem and their extended families; two granddaughters, Lisa, wife of the late Steven Smith, and Melissa Rawlings and her daughter Emma; and a brother, Stanley Dunning in Texas.
He was predeceased by a sister, Elda Dunning; and a son-in-law, Russell B. Rawlings.
