Phillip J. Schwartz, 64, of Macungie, died Nov. 6, 2013, at the Lehigh Center, Macungie, where he resided for the past two years. He was the husband of the late Kathy Ann (Schoch) Schwartz who died July 8, 2012. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John and Lillian C. (Raedler) Schwartz.

He was a member of Solomon's United Church of Christ, Macungie.

He was a member of the Macungie Fire Company where he served as a fire policeman for more than 20 years and the Macungie VFW.

He was employed by Tyler Pipe for 35 years until retiring.

He is survived by numerous cousins.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Nov. 25, at Solomon's Cemetery, Macungie. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
