Timothy P. Bannon, 58, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 22, 2013. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late James Thomas and Phyllis A. (Petho) Bannon. He was the husband of Roseann E. (Howell) Bannon for 32 years.
He was a graduate of Freedom HS and attended Kutztown University where he was on the wrestling team.
He worked for the Parks and Recreation Deptartment, Northampton County, for 18 years and could be found at Bethlehem City Hall for more than ten years greeting people with a smile and answering phones.
He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Everett J. of Bethlehem; a stepdaughter, Tammy Taylor and her son Gregory of Catasauqua; a brother, James T. Jr. and his wife Laura Bannon of Boynton Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Christine M. and her husband Robert Bush of Bethlehem Township and Jeanette M. and her husband James Wahl of Wellington, Fla.; nieces; nephews; and friends who were like family to him.
His family would like to thank Good Shepherd Rehabilitation for all of the care and love that they provided to him for more than seven years.
