Thomas A. Long, 86, of Bethlehem, died Nov. 4, 2013, at his home at Moravian Village, Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Mary and Joseph Long. He was the husband of Frances (Lang) Long for 63 years.

He was in the U.S Army during World War II.

He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel for 38 years; retiring from Homer Research Labs in 1985.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Diane and her husband Michael Rice; a son, David and his wife Kim; and six grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two brothers; and three sisters
