Stephen Kucsan, 87, of Bethlehem, died Nov. 5, 2013, in Moravian Village. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late John and Eva Kucsan.

He earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree in physics at Lehigh University.

He served in the Army Cavalry during World War II.

He was a physicist for the U. S. Department of the Army for many years before retiring.

He was a member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

He is survived by a brother, John of Bethlehem; a sister, Helen and her husband Harry Bennett of Bethlehem; and a nephew, Robert and his wife Susan Bennett.
