Northampton Area High School orchestra is holding a fundraiser at Friendly's on Catasauqua Road 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20.
Money raised will go toward the orchestra's end of the year trips and senior scholarships.
Don't forget to mention the orchestra to have a portion of the sale donated.

Mark your calendar for upcoming changes in school schedules.
Elementary school students will have early dismissals Nov. 21-26 for parent-teacher conferences. No lunch will be served.
School will be closed Nov. 27-Dec. 2 for the Thanksgiving break. Schools reopen Tuesday, Dec. 3.

The middle school PTA meeting will be held 6 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Nov. 14, at the school.

The Lehigh Elementary School Book Fair runs Nov. 18-Nov. 21 during school hours.
Children will bring home a more detailed flyer for the week's event.

Borough fall picture retake day is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 19.
If you would like to have your child's school picture retaken, return the original packet of pictures.

Don't forget to pick up your Market Day pies 3-5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, at Lehigh Elementary School.
The next regular Market Day pick up is set for 3-5 p.m. Dec. 3.

The Turkey Day football game between Northampton and Catasauqua will take place Nov. 28 at the Muhlenburg College Scotty Wood Stadium, 2400 Chew St., Allentown. Kick off is set for 10 a.m.

The middle school is collecting items for the Northampton Food Bank through Wednesday, Nov. 27.
The food bank is in dire need of donations. Each homeroom will have a bag to fill.
Some of the items needed include canned vegetables, fruits, soup, stew, canned meats of any kind, pasta, pasta sauce, mac and cheese, cereal, crackers, instant potatoes, rice, stuffing mix, cleaning products, baby items and personal hygiene.

High school students are invited to participate in a free virtual college fair, scheduled for Nov. 11-16. Students should go to www.collegefairsonline.com and click on the student tab to register.
Students can log on at any time during the week to receive information about colleges and participate in live chat sessions with college representatives.
