Stanley E. Kline, 77, of Allentown, died Nov. 8, 2013, in Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He and his wife, Jane (Lichtenwalner), celebrated their 51st anniversary in June. Born in Emmaus, he was a son of the late Arthur and Cora (Laubach) Kline.

He earned the rank of private first class while serving in the Army.

Prior to retiring in 1998, he was a material handler for Phoenix Clothing for more than 30 years.

He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Konrad, of Breinigsville; a daughter, Lisa and her husband Thomas Eastman, of Burlington, N.J.; grandson, Trent Eastman; brother, Arthur, of Allentown; sister, Elaine, of Allentown.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Newhard and Dorothy Tromater.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 13 in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 1335-37 W. Linden St., Allentown. Call 10 a.m. until time of service.
