Shirley S. Greene, 106, formerly of Allentown and Naz-areth, died Nov. 10, 2013, in the Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late Ralph Jack M.H. Greene. Born and raised in Emmaus, she was a daughter of the late Peter S. and Hannah S.C. (Roth) Fegley.
She was employed by Mack Trucks during World War II and as a telephone operator for the Emmaus Telephone Company and Tele-A-Talk of Allentown for many years, retiring in 1973.
She was a member of the Nazareth Moravian Church, where she was a member of the Bright Star Circle.
She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens where she served as secretary for 12 years. She was a member of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary, Allentown chapter.
She is survived by two sons, Richard F. and his wife Anna M. Druckenmiller, of Topton and Terry R. and his wife Margaret C., of Yuma, Ariz.; two daughters, Joanne J. Sharrer, of Bethlehem and Jane F. and her husband Ronald F. Searfass, of Nazareth; 26 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, Jack E. and Peter J. Druckenmiller.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Nov. 16 in the Stephens Funeral Home Inc., 1335-37 Linden St., Allentown. Calling hour is 10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 16 in the funeral home.
