Retail theft reported
Coplay police the morning of Nov. 3 were called to Giant Food Store, Cherry and Chestnut streets, for a report of retail theft.
Lauryn Best, 29, of Whitehall, attempted to leave the market with $78 worth of cosmetics without paying for the items, police said.
Best was cited with retail theft, police said.
Alarm set off
An alarm summoned police Nov. 1 to Samuel Owens Restaurant, Second and Chestnut streets.
Officers checked the premises and reported nothing unusual, police said.
Alarm set off
An alarm summoned police Oct. 30 to the 100 block of Coplay Street.
Workers on the scene told police they accidentally set off the alarm, police said.
Registration plate removed
A resident of the 1000 block of Oak Street, Coplay, informed police Oct. 28 the registration plate from a trailer parked in front of his residence missing.
An unknown individual stole the registration plate, police said.
