sport club
Ashley Lorah is a member of the Sport Management Club at Ashland University.
Lorah, a 2011 graduate of Parkland High School, is majoring in exercise science.
She is the daughter of Scott and Beth Lorah of Allentown.
The Sport Management Club's activities include participating in the Dale Roy School Field Day, sponsoring the Ashland University Indoor Triathlon and attending the sport management student conference.
Sport professional guest speakers are also invited at various points during the year.
She is also a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority at Ashland.
The purpose of Alpha Delta Pi is to promote high levels of scholarship, service and sisterhood while living up to the ideals of the founders and developing strong personal character.
Alpha Delta Pi visits the Ronald McDonald House in Cleveland weekly and was previously named Ronald McDonald House's House Hero. They hold a 5k and fun walk in the fall and a silent auction in the spring to support Ronald McDonald House Charities.They raise over $13,000 in proceeds while also committing over 15,000 hours of community service every year. Membership in Alpha Delta Pi is open by invitation to female students who have a 2.8 high school GPA or a 2.6 college GPA.
