Ruth J. Wisser, 86, of Emmaus, died Nov. 3, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice. She was the wife of the late Louis J. Wisser. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Leo J. and Dorothy V. (Knauss) DeLong.

She worked for the former Allentown National Bank, 2nd National Bank, and later was a checkout clerk for the former Fenstermaker's Market and Weis Market, retiring in 1990.

She was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church and the I'll Try King's Daughters Circle.

She was a past member of the Emmaus Lioness Club.

She is survived by sons, James L. and his wife Beverly, of Lynchburg, Va. and Grady M., of Emmaus; granddaughters, Faith and Janet.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Nov. 7 in Emmaus Moravian Church, Main Street and Keystone Avenue, Emmaus. Viewing 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
