Richard Edwin Charles Amey, 83, of Tobyhanna, formerly of Emmaus, died Oct. 20, 2013 in Geissinger C.M.C. Hospice. He was the son of the late Frederick and Dorothy (Kuehn) Amey.

He is survived by a son, Douglas S. and his wife, Alice; grandson, Jason F.C.; daughter, Valerie A. and her husband Dennis Haberstumpf; sister, Merial Spohn and brother, Lamar and his wife Loraine.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
