Geraldine Elizabeth Minner, 82, of Macungie, died Oct. 25, 2013, with her family by her side. She was the wife of Dr. Rodney J. Minner for 59 years and 11 months.

She was a 1949 graduate of William Allen High School and a 1952 graduate of Allentown Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at Philadelphia General Hospital as a operating room nurse until the birth of her children.

She enjoyed being the president of the Catasauqua Junior Women's Club and volunteer member of the Allentown Symphony Association where she was ball chairman for two Symphony Balls. She was Bal de la Tour chairman for the Sacred Heart Hospital, a member of the Cotillion Society and a member of the Lehigh Valley Dental Auxiliary.

Her interests included all types of flowers, dancing, playing cards, traveling and parades.

She is survived by her husband; four children, R. Jeffery and his wife, Colleen, of Mission Viejo, Calif., Roger and his wife Mary, of Columbus, Ohio, The Rev. Ronald J., of New Philadelphia and Marybeth and her husband Gregory, of Bethlehem; five grandchildren, Russell, Ronon, Annie, Sarah and Samantha.
