George E. Popovich, 63, of Salisbury Township, died Nov. 3, 2013. He was the husband of Jane L. (Tapler) Popovich for the past 41 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George and Ann (Stoppy) Popovich.
He was the owner of Technicare LTD and Mountainside Restaurant and Lounge.
He was a graduate of Salisbury High School and Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing.
He was a football coach for various local organizations.
He was a Past Master of Jordan-Martin Lodge F&AM where he was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a former member of the Rajah Shrine, Reading.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Michael and his wife Lisa, Joseph and his wife Becky; brother Dale and his wife Rosanne; grandchildren, Hunter, Ashlyn, Dominic, and Dylan.

A Masonic service will take place noon Nov. 9 followed by a religious service in the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. A viewing will be 10 a.m. to noon in the funeral home.
