Donald 'Trumpy' Trump, 80, of Emmaus, died Oct. 25, 2013, peacefully at Riverside Hospital, Newport News, Va. with his family by his side. He was the husband of Stella (Breitfeller) Trump. They celebrated 58 years of marriage. Born in Emmaus, he was a son of the late George and Helen (Miller) Trump.
He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.
He graduated from Emmaus High School in 1950 and went on to play professional baseball.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force in both active duty and the reserves for 30 years.
He was a school teacher in the East Penn School District for 38 years, retiring in 1991.
He enjoyed telling stories, playing cards, polka dancing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife; daughter Gail and her husband Gary Wojciechowski; grandchildren, Chelsea Trump, and Casey, Nicholas and Christie Wojciechowski. He was predeceased by a son and best friend, Dr. Glenn.
Contributions may be made to the Kiwanis Club of Emmaus, P.O. Box 13, Emmaus, 18049 toward the establishment of a scholarship for a college bound student at Emmaus High School in financial need.
