Robert A. Kammetler Sr., 86, of Bethlehem, died Oct.16, 2013. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late John and Theresa (Feiler) Kammetler. He was the husband of Mary Jane (DeLay) Kammetler for 60 years.

He was in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was a clerk in the U.S. Post Office, Bethlehem area, for 42 years until retiring in 1992.

He was a parishioner of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Kathleen Britton of Allentown, Robert Jr. and his wife Stephanie, Susan and her husband Jeffrey Speicher, Sally Kammetler and William and his wife Maria, all of Bethlehem; six grandchildren, Lauren, Brenden, James, Nicole and her husband Paul, Jenna and Julia; four sisters-in-law, Frances Kammetler, Beverly DeLay, Marie DeLay and Betty Kammetler; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Theresa and Julia; and five brothers, Joseph, Julius, John, Frank and William.
